I've led high-performing teams, developed scalable systems, and created SEO campaigns that became agency case studies.

I've worked in digital since 2013. Today I'm a Senior SEO/GEO Strategist at Directive — after nearly five years at HawkSEM rising from Senior SEO Manager to SEO Team Lead to Lead Strategist — and I co-founded Point Source Marketing (formerly SEO Succor), where I still serve as lead digital strategist for brands I've managed for years. Point Source is one of three ventures I founded and still run; the others are listed on my current projects page.
That dual seat matters: agency leadership keeps me sharp on process, scale, and what works across dozens of accounts. Consulting keeps me in the trenches — the same clients, compounding results year over year, documented in published case studies.
More recently, my work has focused on AI Overview and LLM visibility — helping brands get cited by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, not just ranked by Google. It's the biggest shift in search since mobile, and I've been building for it since before it had a name.
Evidence over assumption. Every recommendation traces to data you can check yourself. Transparency. Same dashboards, same numbers, same access I have. Revenue north star. Rankings don't pay the bills; every channel reports to one number that does.
Husband, dad, golfer, and fisherman in mid-Missouri. When I'm not building topical authority, I'm usually on a golf cart with the kids or holding up something that swam.

Short takes on AI search, paid media, and what is actually moving in the SERPs. I post a few times a week.
From the 301 map to the post-launch fire drills, the whole migration took a fraction of the effort it used to. The catch is that an experienced human still had to drive it. Left alone, it would have launched missing a third of the content driving business impact.

Read on LinkedIn →User-generated platforms made up 17.1% of cited domains on SaaS prompts, over four times what publishers got. Wikipedia, Reddit, and LinkedIn were 99% of that share. If your AI visibility plan is only publishing more blog posts, that is a rough read.
